We’ve just passed the first month of MLB baseball action and we have seen some pretty good games so far. Pre-season prognosticators have been wrong once again, as several MLB teams that were supposed to be lousy have been very good and sold quite a few MLB tickets along the way. The Toronto Blue Jays [tickets] are atop the AL East, giving anyone with an MLB ticket to see them some good news. In a division with the Red Sox, Yankees and Rays nobody would have though it, but here they are. We expect the Jays might fall to earth, but who knows, we were saying the same thing about the Rays last year, and they were a boon to everyone with an MLB ticket or two. In the NL, Florida Marlins ticket holders must be happy to see their team atop the NL East, another team that was not supposed to compete. the San Diego Padres and the Seattle Mariners are other teams that have been much better than expecting.
